Outdoor Adventure Programs

Play Rangers

Play Rangers are back with more free fun for the whole family! Get out and play in the snow. A complete list of activities is posted on MoveLearnPlay. 

Saturdays: Noon – 6:00 pm.
December locations: Whitemud & Rundle Parks
January – March location: Whitemud Park

Winter Recreation

A new outdoor drop-in program that takes place at some of the City of Edmonton’s skating surfaces. Join us after a skate or just check us out for fun! Activities change monthly.

Fridays: 6 – 9 pm
Saturdays & Sundays: 2 – 8 pm

Get outside this winter! Explore the river valley on cross-country skis! Or try other fun winter activities!

River Valley Trail Maps

New! Central, west and east river valley winter maps are now available. They show trails, paths, cross-country ski routes, bike lanes, toboggan areas, skating rinks, warm-up locations, washrooms, cafés and more.
